Jon Fohrer promoted to CEO of Community Health Network’s ambulatory services

Indianapolis, IN---Community Health Network is pleased to announce the promotion of Jon Fohrer to CEO of ambulatory services for the network, effective November 1.  He had served as network vice president of ambulatory services since November 2002 and led the orthopedic service line since 2006.

In his new role, Fohrer is responsible for strategic direction, oversight and performance of Community’s ambulatory settings that are not connected to a hospital.  These include Community Health Pavilions; CommunityImagingCenters; Rehab and Sports Medicine; Community Sleep/Wake Centers; MEDPOINT express clinics; and CommunitySpineCenter.  He will continue to manage the orthopedic service line.  Fohrer reports to Bryan Mills, president and CEO of Community Health Network.

“Jon has been with Community for more than 20 years, with more than 15 of those years focused on the ambulatory and physician practice settings,” said Bryan Mills, president and CEO of the network.  “He understands patient/customer service and how to lead operations to achieve ultimate patient/customer satisfaction.”

Fohrer began his career at Community in 1986 as business office manager for Community Hospital North.  He also served as chief operating officer for Indianapolis Medical Management (IMM), part of the Community umbrella, during his tenure. 

He received a bachelor of science degree in finance from BallStateUniversity and a master of business administration from ButlerUniversity.

Fohrer is a member of the Fishers Chamber of Commerce and serves as a board member of Outpatient 100.  He and his wife, Debbie, live in Fishers and have four children: Jonathan, Nick, Corey and Luke.
