MedCheck wins 2008 Consumers' Choice Award
 MedCheck recently won the 2008 Consumers' Choice Award for Urgent Care Clinics.
“This is our third year in a row to win this award. This recognition is possible because of our dedicated staff who provide excellent customer service along with high-quality medical care,” says Linda Erwin, clinical director of MedCheck. “We would also like to thank our patients and the many areas of Community Health Network that give us the support we need to deliver the service and care. Not only does it take the excellent staff at MedCheck to make us a winner, but the network's support also makes it possible.”
Award recipients are identified through a comprehensive consumer research survey. The survey has proven year after year that when consumers have a choice, they prefer to do business with a winner. Since 2002, Indianapolis consumers have identified the best local companies in the marketplace through this special program. MedCheck was honored on-stage at the annual recognition luncheon on March 20.
The Consumers' Choice Award is a program that surveys Indianapolis consumers and business owners in 100 categories. The company uses an independent research firm to conduct the random phone surveys of 2,200 people, who are selected at random for each phase of the survey. This is a representative sample of the greater Indianapolis population. The survey is conducted in two parts; a nomination phase and a voting phase.
At the end of the nomination phase the top three companies are then moved into the voting phase. The survey company selects an entirely different universe of respondents, again 2,200 persons, for this phase. These individuals are asked the very same question. At no time is any company name provided to the respondent. CCA relies on respondents to provide unbiased information. At the end of the voting phase the company whose name is mentioned at the highest rate is the category winner.
As a winner, MedCheck is eligible to join in the marketing and licensing campaign that many of winners use to increase consumer awareness about the quality service they provide.
