The Behavioral Health Pavilion is a full-service 122-bed inpatient behavioral health hospital, located on the Community Hospital North campus. This level of care is for anyone who needs intensive supervision and treatment in dealing with a crisis or an exacerbation of mental illness symptoms. There are nine different units in the pavilion. Three separate units (children, pre-adolescents and adolescents) are dedicated to treating youth from ages 5 to 18.
The pavilion has specialized units for the mood disorders (depression and anxiety issues), units that focus on those with serious mental illness and a psychiatric ICU for consumers needing intensive psychiatric treatment in a highly controlled and monitored setting. Our psychiatrist leads a team of trained and licensed staff to coordinate a treatment plan for patients that provides individual, group and family therapy. The crisis stabilization program offers therapeutic groups that focus on developing stress management and problem solving skills, psycho-education and self-management of illness, as well as education on co-occurring substance use and mental health disorders.
