August 9, 2016 - We are at capacity for all volunteers and campers. Thank you for your support!
A priceless volunteer opportunity to support grieving children at this year’s Camp Erin® Indianapolis...
Camp Erin is a bereavement camp for children and teens ages 6-17. Thank you to all who supported camp in 2015; we hope to see you in 2016!
Who can volunteer?
There are a variety of volunteer positions needed to make Camp Erin Indianapolis a success. Volunteers are needed for pre-camp planning, throughout camp weekend and to support the Sunday afternoon Family Program that takes place in Indianapolis. Training will be provided and is required for all volunteers.
All volunteers working directly with the campers must have identity verification and pass a criminal background check. All volunteers will be interviewed and have the opportunity to ask questions about camp roles and expectations.
By completing an application, you agree to the criminal background check, identity verification using your social security number, and reference, employment and residency checks, where appropriate. Camp Erin Indianapolis will treat all personal information as strictly confidential. In order to provide insurance coverage for volunteers for Camp Erin, all applications will also be processed as applications to become Community Home Health volunteers.
