Debra BedwellDebra Bedwell

Debra Bedwell graduated from Purdue with a degree in nursing in 1980. She graduated from Indiana University in 1991 with a degree in counseling and education. In 2006, she received her master's degree as a family nurse practitioner from IUPUI. She has practiced nursing for more than 30 years and has extensive experience in cardiology and critical care. She is a also an advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) and CPR instructor.

Debra is involved in many professional organizations. She is the vice president of CAPNI, a member of NPWH, an adjunct faculty member at IUPUI and credentialed through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). She loves to travel, camp, work in her yard, read, swim and go to the movies.

Susan Bray

Susan Bray graduated as a family nurse practitioner with a master's degree in primary care nursing from Indiana Wesleyan University. She has been a registered nurse for more than 18 years.

She is currently a member of ANA/ISNA, Sigma Theta Tau National Honor Society of Nursing and the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She enjoys spending free time with her husband and three children.

Brenda Carr-Vogelgesang

Brenda Carr-Vogelgesang received her master's degree from the University of Indianapolis, specializing as a family nurse practitioner. She has more than 17 years of experience in the health care industry and more than five years of experience as a registered nurse. She is a dedicated family nurse practitioner who strives to adapt to new situations and enjoys working in health care.

Her hobbies include traveling, shopping and spending time with her family.

Allie CarsonAllie Carson

Allie Carson graduated from IUPUI with a bachelor's degree in nursing and a master's degree as a family nurse practitioner. She has six years of experience as a family nurse practitioner. She is an active member of CAPNI and the Black Nurses Association. Her interests include holistic nutrition and working out. She is currently training for her fourth mini marathon.

Tracy A. Donahue, FNP

Tracy Donahue received her undergraduate nursing degree (1990) and her master's degree as a pediatric nurse practitioner (1996) from the Indiana University School of Nursing. In 1997, she completed post-graduate coursework in the Family Nurse Practitioner Program at the University of Indianapolis.

She maintains certifications by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) and the Pediatric Nursing Board. She has practiced in a family practice setting for more than seven years and has a special interest in the diagnosis and treatment of asthma and allergy disorders. Tracy is a native Hoosier. She is married and has a son and a daughter.

As a nurse practitioner, Tracy is available to see patients for follow-up visits as well as acute appointment needs. Tracy works closely with our physicians to coordinate patient care.

Melodie Gill

Melodie Gill graduated from the IUPUI School of Nursing with her bachelor’s degree in 1997. Prior to nursing, she was a pharmacy technician for CVS. As a registered nurse, she worked for Winona Hospital and Urology of Indiana before moving to Wishard Hospital. While at Wishard, she spent the majority of her time in the Burn Unit and Post Surgical Recovery. She then graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2005 with her master'ss degree, specializing as a family nurse practitioner. She works for both Cummins Engines in Columbus, Indiana and at Community Health Network as a nurse practitioner.

She is married and has a grown son. Her main interest is traveling; she visited England and France in 2009. She is looking forward to taking a cruise to the Bahamas this fall.

Marla Kinnaman

Marla Kinnaman graduated from Ball State University. She has nine years of experience as a nurse practitioner. Her experience has varied, but has been instrumental in development and setup of onsite employee-based clinics that serve employees and their families.

She belongs to the following professional organizations: AANP, ANCC and Sigma Theta Tau. Her interests include playing with her grandchildren, gardening and scrapbooking.

Terri KyleTerri Kyle

Terri Kyle received her associate's degree in nursing (1985) and bachelor's degree in organizational leadership (2001) from Anderson College. She also has a master's in nursing from University of Phoenix (2001). Terri also received a WHNP certificate from the Indiana University School of Nursing in 1992. She loves being a nurse and cannot imagine being or doing anything else. She loves that nursing is such a versatile career.

Terri is married and has three children and two grandchildren. Her interests include getting away with family any time she can, being home with her three wonderful dogs and just spending time with her family. She enjoys reading motivational books and has done some public speaking.

Terri Lawson, MSN, R.N., FNP-BCTerri Lawson, MSN, R.N., FNP-BC

Terri Lawson graduated from Indiana University with her associate's and bachelor of nursing degrees. She then received her masters degree from Indiana Wesleyan University specializing as a family nurse practitioner. Her areas of experience include hospital pediatrics, family practice and pain management.

She is board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), certified in Basic Life Support by the American Heart Association and a certified Medicare/Medicaid provider. She actively participates in continuing education to provide up-to-date patient care.

Debra McLeanDebra McLean

Debra McLean graduated from Ball State University in 1982 with a nursing degree. She graduated from the University of Indianapolis in 2005 with a master's degree, specializing as a family nurse practitioner. She worked as a registered nurse in cardiology for most of her career. She almost 30 years of experience in the medical field.

She belongs to AANP and the Heart Rhythm Society. Her professional interests include hospital medicine, cardiology research and emergency medicine research. Her personal interests include scuba diving and ballroom dancing.

Julie MoserJulie Moser

Julia Moser graduated from Purdue in 1987 with a degree in nursing. In 2007, she graduated from IUPUI with a master's degree, specializing as a family nurse practitioner. She has worked in the OR since 1990. She currently works at OrthoIndy, specializing in spine medicine with Dr. Michel Cosscia.

She belongs to many professional organizations, including AAORN, CNOR and ANA, and is certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). Her interests include horseback riding and dog and cat rescue.

Kathy MullinKathy Mullin

Kathy Mullin attended Indiana University, the General Hospital school of Nursing (now Wishard Hospital) and Indiana Wesleyan University. She is a 35-year employee of Community Health Network and three generations of her family have also worked for Community.

She enjoys traveling, writing, working on her home with her family, and being with family and friends. Kathy is also a published author and a scholastic speaker.

Wendy ShannonWendy Shannon

Wendy Shannon graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University, where is currently an adjunct faculty member. She is certified as a parish nurse and works with St. Paul’s Missionary Baptist Church in Marion, Indiana. She has 18 years of experience working in a variety of fields, including medical surgery, oncology, PCU and long-term care.

She is certified through the AANP and a member of CAPNI. Her interests include having fun with her children and spending time with her family.

Adrienne ThompsonAdrienne Thompson

Adrienne Thompson received her undergraduate degree (1992) and master's degree (2002), specializing as a family nurse practitioner, from St. Francis University. Her nursing experience varies, including work in internal medicine, ER, adult trauma, geriatrics and family practice.

Adrienne is certified through the AANP and a member of CAPNI. She is a jazz singer who performs on the weekends professionally. She is married with four children and loves to dance.

Kelly Ward

Kelly Ward graduated from University of Indianapolis with a nursing degree and from Indiana University with a master's degree as a family nurse practitioner. She has eight years of specialty experience in bone marrow and hematology/oncology care, and two years of experience in oncology.

Her professional organizations include the ACPNI and a certification with ANCC. She is interested in being a band parent and gardening.
