Community Home Health Services receives Innovative Program Strategy Award
Community Home Health Services (CHHS), part of Community Health Network, received the “Innovative Program Strategy 2009” award from Philips TeleHealth Solutions this month due to the innovative use of telehealth for home care patients. The award focused on CHHS work with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease patients.

Celebration of life
CHHS employees led the partnership with the staff of the Hutson School and Community Health Network Foundation for the inaugural “Celebrate Life” program. We had the opportunity to take on an especially meaningful project to provide an exceptional experience to new mothers who are in need of basic supplies for their newborns. Bottles, sleepers, pacifiers, bibs, blankets and many more items were purchased. The CHHS staff rallied together to collect over 4,200 items to fill 300 diaper bags for the new babies to meet the needs of approximately 300 babies and mothers who go home from Network hospitals each year without these items.
