Dr. Christy Hartmann was born in Lafitte, Louisiana which is a small bayou town. She received her bachelor of science degree in biological science from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge.
Following undergrad, Dr. Hartmann taught geometry and algebra, also serving as softball and volleyball coach at Immaculata High School for two years. Her medical degree was earned at Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans, Louisiana where she subsequently completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology in 2013.
As an OB/GYN physician, Dr. Hartmann enjoys all aspects of women’s healthcare. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Jon, and her pets Fry the cat and Leela the dog. She enjoys cooking, reading and an occasional bike ride.
