Concierge services

Concierge is a way of getting time back from your busy life whether you are a patient, family member, Community employee or physician. The Community concierge provides convenience in your life: we cut out the hassle by running the errands for you so you can spend more quality time with your loved ones or focus on your work.

Employee concierge

The Employee Concierge service provides a way for employees and physicians to squeeze more time out of the days. Use our services to help you complete your shift or the necessities of a busy practice without the worry of getting an errand done.

Examples of what the Employee Concierge can do for you:

• Daily pick-up and delivery of dry cleaning (dry cleaning bags available)
• Oil changes, brakes, batteries, tune-ups
• Gift shopping and wrapping
• Purchasing tickets to concerts and sporting events
• Picking up lunches for five or more people
• Internet searches
• Flower ordering and delivery
• Maps and directions to nearby hotels for waiting family members
• Shoe repair

Patient concierge

Sudden illness or surgery greatly disrupts the lives of patients and their families. Community's Patient Concierge provides a way for patients and families to run needed errands while in the hospital. This is especially beneficial for family members who are waiting for their loved ones to complete testing, surgery or other procedures.

Examples of what the Patient Concierge can do for you:

• Arrange hair salon services (cuts, trims, washing)
• Daily newspaper
• Reading materials, magazines, puzzles
• Maps and directions to nearby hotels for waiting family members
• Gift shopping and wrapping
• Internet searches
• Flower ordering and delivery

What does it cost?

Concierge clients only pay for the product(s): the cost of flowers sent, cost of oil and labor for mechanics service, cost of purchased gifts, etc. You do not pay for the service overhead, i.e., the cost of the concierge. That is supported by Community Hospital East.

Contact the concierge

We will be asking visitors, patients, employees and physicians to tell us what services they would like. You may see one of us in the lobby surveying people who are willing to talk about their experiences. This is a “work in progress” and an attempt to customize our service.
