Matthew Welsch, M.D., is a fellowship trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in the treatment and rehabilitation of acute and chronic injuries of the upper extremities. Dr. Welsch is trained in both adult and pediatric conditions involving the hand, wrist, elbow and shoulder, including joint replacement and trauma.
Dr. Welsch received his undergraduate degree at the University of Notre Dame, graduating cum laude in medical engineering. He completed his medical degree at the Medical College of Wisconsin and his residency at Indiana University, followed by fellowship training at The Indiana Hand to Shoulder Center, Indiana University.
Dr. Welsch is a member of the American Society of Surgery of the Hand and American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery.
