Community Health Network
cancer registry

Community Health Network's cancer registry is responsible for the collection, management and analysis of data on patients diagnosed with malignant disease.

Cancer registry is staffed by five Certified Tumor Registrars: Stephanie Barnett, Bonita Durham, Valerie Phillippe, Heather Scott and Nancy Whipple. Judi Stewart is the cancer registry assistant.

Cancer registry works closely with the network cancer committee to provide information from which analysis of patient outcomes can be determined. Cancer registry collaborates with the cancer committee to assure continued compliance with the standards set forth by the Commission on Cancer of the American College of Surgeons.

Community Health Network's cancer program was granted Three-Year Accreditation with Commendation in 2011 from the Commission on Cancer of the American College of Surgeons.
