Orthopedics is one of the oldest medical disciplines and one that is at the forefront of intellectual and technological development. To encourage interested nurses to obtain a working knowledge in the area of orthopedic nursing, Community Health Network has established a support program for self-study in orthopedics. This program supports the National Association of Orthopaedic Nurses curriculum and is highly recommended for someone considering appearing for the national certification examination.
- Be employed at Community Health Network as a registered nurse and have at least two years of orthopedics experience
- The program is offered year-round as a support program for self-study and includes mentoring and journals.
