Community Health Network serves a diverse community of individuals, some of whom have difficulty communicating in English. We have medical interpreters available at no cost 24/7—in compliance with federal and state laws—to assist patients, their family members, and other legally authorized persons. These interpreters work with clinicians and clinical specialties throughout network sites of care, providing verbal and written interpretation. Community Health Network is excited to offer these services for staff and patients to better serve the diverse needs of our community.

Ignacio Bravo and Vincenta “Vicky” Andrade are part of our on-site language services. These positions provide support for our limited English proficient (LEP) patients and family members in medical situations. Community Health Network is pleased to offer this benefit to our Spanish-speaking community.
Telephone-based interpreter services
For non-English speaking clients we offer translation services that can be delivered by telephone. The dual headset phone system provides easy, clear translation in a three-way communication – the care provider, the patient and the interpreter. This one-touch system provides instant translation access for up to 150 languages. No longer will care providers need to pause for translation services. Rather, the phones are portable and can be used at multiple locations. In addition to providing speed, the phones also ensure confidentiality when sharing sensitive patient information.
