Cardioscore/heart scan (CT)
$49

Also known as coronary calcium score, this scan provides pictures of your heart's arteries (coronary arteries). Doctors use heart scans to look for calcium deposits in the coronary arteries that can narrow your arteries and increase your heart attack risk. The result of this test is often called a coronary calcium score. People who are most likely to benefit from having a heart scan are adults over 40 years of age, who smoke, have high blood pressure, are diabetic, are obese, have high or borderline cholesterol, and/or have a family history of heart disease. Low-dose CT scan lung screening
$99

Lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer deaths in the United States. About 165,000 people are diagnosed with lung cancer each year in the U.S alone. Today, substantially more women die from lung cancer than from breast cancer. It is firmly established that smoking cigarettes causes the vast majority of lung cancers. Another important risk factor is long time exposure to second hand smoke and exposure to asbestos fibers. Like most cancers, lung cancer tends to occur later in life. Lung cancer is rarely observed in people under the age of 45-50 years. Persons undergoing CT lung screening will receive an ultra low-dose CT scan that will demonstrate the lung tissue in high diagnostic quality detail with a reduced amount of ionizing radiation. Learn more >>

Vascular screenings (adults only)
$99 all three tests; or individually priced

To schedule a vascular screening, please call 800-777-7775.

$25.00 - An ABI screening test is a quick, painless and accurate test that will provide early detection of symptoms of peripheral arterial disease (PAD). It compares the blood pressure in your ankle with the blood pressure in your arm (AB Index). Good screening candidates are those over age 45 with other risk factors for vascular disease, including diabetes, smoking, hypertension, abnormal cholesterol profiles, and/or family history.

$37.00 - Screening of the carotid arteries provides images to screen for blood flow of the carotid arteries on both sides of your neck.

$37.00 - Abdominal aortic aneurysm screening looks for weakened and bulging areas in the lower part of the aorta, the major blood vessel that supplies blood to the body.

Student athletes and sports

high school football players need sports screeningsStudent athlete echocardiogram (11 and older)
$25

The electrocardiogram screening measures the electrical activity of the heartbeat and uses sound waves to produce images of the heart. This commonly used test allows your doctor to see how your heart is beating and pumping blood. Your doctor can use the images from an echocardiogram to identify various abnormalities in the heart muscle and valves. Eligible students must be at least 11 years of age. Students under 18 years must have a parent or legal guardian present to sign the consent for testing. Learn more >>
