Risheet Patel, M.D.
In 2007, Risheet Patel, M.D., received the Indiana Academy of Family Physicians (IAFP) Outstanding Resident Award. The award is presented annually to a family practice resident who demonstrates exceptional interest and involvement in family medicine and exemplifies the qualities of a family physician.
The IAFP further notes that, "Dr. Patel has made a lasting impression on patients, students, fellow residents and teachers in just a few short years. He has been an ambassador for the specialty and a pillar in his community...He eagerly anticipates the opportunities he has to influence policies and programs that will positively impact the health of the public."
Dr. Risheet Patel was born and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana and graduated high school locally from Hamilton Southeastern High School. He completed his undergraduate work at Union College in Schenectady, New York and then attended Albany Medical College in Albany, New York. Dr. Patel then moved back to Indianapolis and completed his Family Medicine Residency at Community Health Network. He currently practices family medicine in Indianapolis, serving the Fishers area, at Olio Road Family Care.

2010 Pfizer Teacher Development Award Winners
LEAWOOD, Kansas - Risheet R. Patel, M.D., a practicing family physician in Fishers, Indiana, , is among a select group of physicians honored by the American Academy of Family Physicians Foundation for his commitment to education in the field of family medicine. Dr. Patel was selected to receive a 2010 Pfizer Teacher Development Award based on his scholastic achievement, leadership qualities and dedication to family medicine.

Dr. Patel earned his medical degree from Albany Medical College and is a graduate of the Community Health Network Family Medicine Residency Program,
where he
