Partial knee replacement (uni-knee replacement)

A partial knee replacement, also known as a uni-knee replacement, is when only part of the knee joint is removed and replaced with implants. Only the bad part of one side of a knee is replaced versus the entire knee joint surfaces in a total joint replacement.

Below are x-rays and illustrations of a partial knee replacement.
