James M. Kerpsack, M.D., is a board certified pediatric orthopaedic surgeon who specializes in sports injuries, as well as adult orthopaedics. He is also specially trained in ImPACT testing for concussions for student athletes as part of Community's Sports Medicine program.
Dr. Kerpsack received his undergraduate degree at Ohio State University and his medical degree at Wright State University School of Medicine in Dayton, Ohio. His orthopaedic surgery residency was completed at Mount Carmel Health System in Columbus, Ohio. His fellowship training in orthopaedic pediatric surgery was performed at Nemours’ Children’s Clinic in Orlando, Florida, where he trained with one of the world's leading experts in pediatric orthopaedics and limb deformity.
Some of Dr. Kerpsack’s clinical interests include knee and shoulder injuries, joint stabilization and ligament reconstruction. He has authored numerous articles in professional publications and has presented on a variety of orthopaedic topics at a national level.
Knowing that parents, and referring physicians, like to have their children and patients seen quickly, Dr. Kerpsack is pleased to offer same-day appointments.
