Obstetrics nursing certification review course

Obstetrics (OB) nurses who seek to meet the highest standards of expertise and professionalism may obtain certification to reinforce their working knowledge of obstetrics nursing practices. As members of one of the most stimulating areas of nursing, certified obstetric nurses demonstrate a high commitment to inpatient obstetric nursing care.

About this program

For family rooms, a course is offered to prepare nurses for their inpatient obstetric certification exam. These two-day review courses are offered annually. Community Health Network offers reimbursement for OB certification expenses. OB nurses must successfully meet basic established criteria in order to sit for the certification examination. All nurses with at least two years of obstetrics experience are strongly encouraged to achieve obstetrics nursing certification.
