Neuroscience certification review course
Neuroscience nursing is one of the fastest growing areas of nursing, with requirements across the healthcare continuum. Today's neuroscience nurses can reinforce their working knowledge by seeking certification. The CNRN (certified neuroscience registered nurse) examination is accredited by the American Board of Nursing Specialties (ABNS), the only nationally-recognized accrediting body for specialty nursing certification. The ABNN (American Board of Neuroscience Nursing) is an independent, not-for-profit corporation established to design, implement and evaluate a certification program for professional nurses involved in the specialty practice of neuroscience nursing.
Suggested review courses
Community Health Network employees preparing for this examination are encouraged to attend the two-day review course offered by Clarian and Indiana University. The review courses are typically offered each fall. Candidates are also encouraged to study independently and will be provided with adequate support from the neuroscience department.
