Nursing certification review course: Critical care

Community Health Network provides an internal review course to support critical care nurses who desire to obtain certification credentials. CCRN (certified critical care nurse) is the certification awarded by the American Association of Critical Care Nurses (AACN).

About this review course

The review course is offered in parts throughout the year. The course is designed for caregivers and educators who desire to take the certification examination. A two-hour class is held every month. Each class addresses one content area. Typically, it takes about 8 to 9 months to complete a cycle of contents. Even though the courses are designed with the certification curriculum, anyone who is interested in widening his or her knowledge in this area is welcome to attend. The hours of attendance may be counted as continuing education credits for the certification / recertification.
