2010 - Community tallies 151 Salute to Nurses nominees
Community Health Network nurses were nominated by patients, family members, friends and coworkers in the The Indianapolis Star’s eighth annual Salute to Nurses contest. In fact, the 151 nominations that were sent in meant that, for another year in a row, Community Health Network was recognized for receiving the most nominations of any health care organization in the contest. The network received a plaque at the Salute to Nurses luncheon on April 28 honoring this recognition. A full listing of names and locations of Community’s nominated nurses is included below.
“Congratulations to all the nurses nominated for the Salute to Nurses awards sponsored by The Indianapolis Star,” shares Jan Bingle, network chief nursing officer. “We are proud to have received, once again, the most nominations turned in for this recognition event. The nominations submitted make evident the professional excellence of all 3,000 Community nurses wherever nursing is practiced.”
