Nursing at Community

Nursing leadership

Nursing leadership’s mission is “to provide high-value nursing services and to enhance the professional conduct and autonomous practice of its members." Our professional practice of nursing is based upon the philosophical tenets, values and guiding principles of Community Health Network, as well as those outlined by professional nursing organizations. This strong mission for nursing enables us to effectively support the network’s mission: “With caring and compassion we continually strive to improve the health and well being of those individuals in central Indiana who entrust their care to us.”

Janet Bingle, M.S., R.N., Community Health Network's CNO and VP of Clinical Practice, Education and Research, passionately drives the professional practice of nursing, proactively ensuring nursing reflects and fosters the mission, vision, values and philosophical tenets of Community Health Network. Janet Bingle spearheads the nursing services division, while leading nurse executives from multiple sites of care and many entities to ensure successful outcomes for patients and a professional practice environment for nurses.

Community Health Network aspires to be the place to practice nursing in central Indiana. Community Health Network nurses are passionate about the delivery of highly reliable, excellent, and compassionate nursing care which results in high-quality nurse sensitive patient family outcomes. In the context of exceptional customer and employee experiences, professional nursing care is practiced in partnership with a multidisciplinary health care team.

A nursing leader supports each area responsible for providing nursing care with 24-hour accountability for patient care.
