Behavioral Health Pavilion/inpatient services for youth
The Behavioral Health Pavilion, a full-service inpatient behavioral health hospital, is attached to Community Hospital North. This level of care is for anyone who needs intensive supervision and treatment in dealing with a crisis or an exacerbation of mental illness symptoms. While a patient at the Pavilion, our psychiatrist works with trained and licensed staff to coordinate a plan for individual, group, family and activity therapy.
There are three separate units serving children, pre-adolescents and adolescents:
Daily unit schedules

- Children unit serves ages 5-10.
- Pre-adolescent unit serves ages 10-14.
- Adolescent unit serves ages 14-18.

- Individual and group therapy

- Parent and patient education
- Transition planning

Treatment staff
Multidisciplinary team—under the direction of psychiatrists—includes psychologists, advanced practice nurses, licensed clinical social workers, licensed master's-level therapists in counseling, and addictions-certified master's-level counselors.
