Partial hospitalization/extensive outpatient services for adults
As an alternative or follow-up to inpatient services, partial hospitalization provides daily group therapy throughout the week. For adults dealing with intense depression or anxiety disorders, partial hospitalization allows living at home and possibly continuing to work. Group therapy session concentrate on building skills in coping, communication and developing assertiveness skills. Psychiatric consultation and medication management are also part of evaluation and treatment.
For individuals suffering from substance abuse and psychiatric disorders, an integrated dual diagnosis treatment model is available. The program builds psycho-social skills for successful living and is highly individualized with a small group.
Services
- Group psychotherapy, group psycho-education, family therapy and medication assessments for patients dealing with emotional disorders not requiring inpatient treatment. Therapy scheduled three to six hours per day, three to five days per week.
- Day or evening options are available for adults.
Treatment staff
Multidisciplinary team, under the directon of psychiatrists, includes psychologists, advanced practice nurses, licensed clinical social workers, licensed master's-level therapists in counseling, and addictions-certified master's-level counselors.
