24-hour crisis
Community's 24-hour crisis line (800-662-3445) provides immediate evaluations by phone and/or face-to-face for psychiatric emergencies. For non-medical emergencies, enter through the Crisis lobby at Behavioral Health Pavilion located on the north end of Community Hospital North.
Services
- Triage and assessment
- Crisis stabilization
- Referral to community resources
- Same-day evaluations for at-risk individuals
- Work in acccordance with Indiana Crisis Assistance Response Team (I-CART) to provide school crisis services
- Crisis intervention stress management (CISM) provided to companies that have experienced traumatic events in the workplace
Population served
Children, pre-adolescents, adolescents, adult and senior adult mental health patients, and those with co-occurring disorders (substance abuse and mental health)
Treatment staff
Multidisciplinary team—under the direction of psychiatrists—includes licensed mental health counselors and licensed social workers.
