Bridges to Weight Management

Community Health Network's Bridges to Weight Management program offers a variety of weight management resources to assist employees with losing weight. These innovative programs are supervised by a multidisciplinary team of professionals to help participants obtain their weight loss goals. A wellness coach will be assigned to all eligible employees and will follow the employee throughout the year. The coach will be the primary point of contact in referring the employee to the most appropriate resources based on needs, interests and commitment level.

All Bridges to Weight Management courses are free of charge for employees who qualify for the program. To qualify for most programs, you must have a recorded BMI of 27.1 or higher. If you are interested in participating in Bridges to Weight Management, please call 317-621-4304.

Unhappy with your medical benefits screening results?

If your blood fats are too high and you are ready to get busy lowering them, consider the CHIP Express program. CHIP stands for Coronary Health Improvement Project. This is a 4-week class that meets twice per week. CHIP is well known for its dramatic effect on improving blood fats and blood pressure. Learn what you can do to make your body healthier and lower your risk of heart disease. Taste healthy recipes, take a grocery tour, and understand the complex mechanics of heart disease to better understand how to fight our nation’s number 1 killer.

CHIP Express classes will be offered at CHN and CHE beginning this fall. Watch your e-mail and hospital bulletin boards for more details.

If you have attended CHIP in the past, you are invited to this class as a refresher! Learn more about CHIP programs >>
