Growing up in today's fast-paced society is a challenge no matter one's age. Children with addictions may experience emotional and behavioral problems in trying to deal with issues at home, school or other important environments in their lives. Behavioral care services at Community Health Network provide expertise to support a wide variety of mental health conditions. The programs address age-specific problems in developing treatment plans for children from 4-18 years of age. Therapy is provided to individuals, groups, and families through both inpatient and outpatient care.

Addiction and chemical dependency

Individual, group and relationship therapy is available for addictions and chemical dependency with special programs tailored for the specific needs of adolescents. Individuals are assisted in taking control of their life and their dependency through psychiatric evaluations, medication management, intensive outpatient addictions, and inpatient detoxification. For those dealing with serious problems related to alcohol and/or drug use, partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient addiction (IOAP) services are available. Detoxification from alcohol, benzodiazepines and certain types of narcotics is also provided in an outpatient setting.
