Community Health Network's Behavioral Care Services is central Indiana's largest provider of mental health services, with an extensive continuum of treatment options. More than 4,700 inpatient stays and 19,000 outpatient total client visits a year are provided to patients ranging from age four to senior adults. Clients may be seen in individual, family or group therapy, utilizing psychiatric assessment and evaluation in the development of personal treatment plans by physicians, psychologists, advance practice nurses, therapists and counselors.

The Psychiatric Pavilion, a full-service, 123-bed inpatient behavioral care hospital, is located on the Community Hospital North campus. Crisis services are available twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week for immediate evaluations by phone or in person. Gallahue Mental Health Services provides outpatient behavioral care services in Marion, Hancock, Madison and Shelby counties. The Community Support Service program provides an array of therapeutic programs for the Severely Mentally Ill (SMI), including employment training and assistance with job placement. Another large component of Community's behavioral care services is the school-based program. Gallahue's professional staff delivers mental health services to students in the school environment in more than fifty sites for Indianapolis Public Schools and the Metropolitan School Districts of Lawrence, Warren, Washington and Wayne townships.

Choosing a behavioral health care provider is a very personal and important decision. Clients who come to Community find hope and health as they face anxiety, depression, addiction or other mental health disorders.

Community Health Network's Behavioral Care Services is dedicated to assisting our clients in getting back to their lives.
