Our services

Community Health Network Assisted Fertility Services offers complete laboratory services, including embryology and andrology programs, fertility preservation and embryo donation/adoption. The reproductive biology lab assists with the diagnosis and treatment of fertility problems. During treatment, the lab is involved in each step, including egg and sperm retrieval, embryology services and embryo transfer.

Embryology services

Embryology services include laboratory procedures for major fertility techniques, including in vitro fertilization (IVF). The IVF process consists of several steps:

Intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI), which can be very helpful for male fertility problems
Preimplantation genetic diagnosis (PGD), which can be used to test an embryo for specific lethal genetic disorders before embryo transfer
Assisted embryo hatching, a method that may help an embryo implant within the uterus and establish a pregnancy
Blastocyst transfer, or "day five" embryo transfer
Embryo cryopreservation, or freezing

Andrology services

Andrology services include sperm analysis, sperm antibody testing, and sperm washing for intrauterine insemination procedures. These tests can detect problems that might interfere with fertility.

Fertility preservation

We also offer fertility preservation by freezing and storing either sperm for men or eggs for women. We are one of the few centers in the world that has had infants born from frozen egg procedures. Women at risk for losing their fertility, such as women undergoing chemotherapy or radiation therapy, may benefit from this innovative technology. Another category of women may be those who choose to delay pregnancy until later in life.

Embryo adoption/donation program

Our program offers the option of embryo donation for those who do not wish to thaw and transfer their frozen embryos.
